Global sales of the iPad Pro 2021 will start in almost three weeks, but Apple has already announced the cost of repairing new tablets if they are accidentally damaged.
The most expensive thing will be to repair an accidentally damaged new iPad Pro 12.9 – in the US, the service price will be $699. Exactly the same price in America is the new iPhone 12 Mini in the carrier version with 64 GB built-in storage. iPad Pro 11 repairs will cost $499.
Note that the prices are shown are for repairs outside of AppleCare +. If the owner of the tablet is a participant in this program, then any accidental damage caused by his fault, that is not being a warranty case, will be eliminated for $49. The cost of purchasing AppleCare + insurance in the US ranges from $129 to $149, depending on the iPad Pro model. You can also pay for this service by subscription, which will range from $6 to $8 per month. The program entitles you to two preferential repairs within 12 months.
