Huawei Denies Violating US Law

Huawei Technologies today officially denied both itself and its subsidiaries that they have violated US law.

“Huawei was disappointed when it was informed of the allegations against the company,” a statement issued by the Athens-Macedonia News Agency said.

The US Department of Justice has reportedly revealed that it has filed charges against the Chinese company and continues to demand the extradition of Huawei’s chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou, from Canada.

Following Meng’s arrest in Canada, the Chinese tech giant “sought the opportunity to discuss the investigation” with the Justice Department but “the request was rejected without explanation,” the company said in a statement.

She has denied any wrongdoing on the part of the U.S. Attorney General’s Office, which has denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating “Similar, baseless allegations concerning US intelligence have been made more than once. ends in the same conclusion.”
